Description 2026 first harvest Plucked during the first harvest in Kagoshima and carefully selected by Yoshiaki Nakayama, RIKU is a stellar matcha made to be enjoyed both straight and in latte. Nutty and aromatic Okuyutaka and Yutakamidori tencha is slowly roasted in a traditional roasting furnace, bringing out a roasted aroma that doesn't overpower the natural tea taste of matcha, and a deep, layered fragrance. Even when blended with milk, its aroma stands out clearly, allowing the rich umami and roasted notes of matcha to spread throughout the latte. Naturally sweet, with only a hint of bitterness. Nakayama san calls RIKU "perfect for those who truly care about their matcha lattes.
